Paisiblement, Fernand Gérardy entouré de sa famille nous a quittés le 3 septembre 2014 à l’âge de 85 ans.
Il laisse dans le deuil sa femme Ferdinande (André) Gerardy, ses enfants, Marc (Debbie), Anita (Luc), Marie-France (Paul), Thérèse et Noël (Brigitte) ainsi que 16 petits enfants et 18 arrières petits enfants.
Il est né à St-Labre et il y est resté toute sa vie. C’était un passionné de la nature, un bûcheron par excellence et il possédait une personnalité d’une douceur incroyable.
Ses enfants et ses petits enfants adoraient son sens d’humour et sa joie de vivre. Il était à l’écoute de tous et chacun.
Il avait une foi inébranlable et cette foi lui a donné de la force jusqu'à la fin. Il repose maintenant en Paix.
Nous t’aimons papa et nous savons que tu es bien accompagné là-haut!
Les prières auront lieu a l’église de St-Labre, lundi le 8 septembre 2014 à 10h30 suivi du service à 11h00.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grand-father Fernand Gérardy on the 3rd of September 2014 at the age of 85 years old.
He leaves to mourn his wife Ferdinande Gérardy, his children Marc (Debbie), Anita (Luc), Marie-France (Paul), Thérèse and Noël (Brigitte) along with his 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
His children and grandchildren adored his sense of humor and his passion for life. He was always there to listen to everyone.
He had a strong faith, and this gave him strength until the end. He now rests in Peace.
We love you Dad and will miss you.
Prayers will be held on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 10:30 in the St. Labre Catholic Church followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at the St. Labre cemetery.
