HENRY REIMER

Henry L. Reimer, 86, of Blumenort formerly of Ridgewood, passed away Sunday, July 13th, 2014 at Bethesda Hospital.

He is survived by two sisters, Annie and Helen. He was predeceased by one brother, and one sister.

Henry was a farmer at heart. Together with his brother John and three sisters, he worked the land and cared for their livestock. He took great delight in their John Deere tractor. He will be remembered for the many miles he drove this tractor on roads around the community. Henry loved people and the tractor gave him the opportunity to connect with friends.

He loved his saviour Jesus Christ and served him faithfully. He was concerned that people near him would find the love and forgiveness of Jesus. Henry was baptized upon confession of faith and was a faithful member of Ridgewood EM Church.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel. A viewing will also be held at the church prior to the service.

The funeral for Henry L. Reimer will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Ridgewood Church with burial at the church cemetery.
