It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Carol passed away at the age of 65 on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Christine (Joseph Hickman), son Clinton, daughter Carrie (Adelard Bibeau), her grandchildren – whom she adored – Travis and Karlie Hickman, Kendra and Ciara Bibeau.
Also left to mourn are her brothers and sisters, Max (Janet) Nichols, Ed Nichols, Violet (Arthur Cote), Bernice Blaczejewski, Clifford (Mary) Nichols, Mary-Rose (Lionel Pilloud), Jim (Barb) Nichols, Joan (David Darichuk); and Ovide’s family, Lorraine (Kurtenbach), Dorothee (Marcel Dequier), Romeo Labossiere, Roger Labossiere, Arlette (Allan Garth); also many nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.
Carol was predeceased by her infant son Darin in 1968, her husband Ovide, and her parents Wallace and Rose Nichols.
Carol was born on Aug. 1, 1948 in Portage la Prairie, MB.
Mom, you fought so hard to stay with us. We will miss you very much. You will be sadly missed by everyone who knew you.
Cremation has taken place and a gravesite memorial service for Carol and Ovide Labossiere will be held in Haywood, MB at 2 p.m.
