It is with deepest sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary Smerechynski, a very kind and loved woman, at Seven Oaks General Hospital early Tuesday morning, surrounded by her family.
She is predeceased by her parents John and Mary Zahara and infant son, baby William.
Left to cherish her memory are her soul mate and husband Nick Smerechynski, children: daughter Lana (Mark) Gardner, and sons Don (Dale) Smerechynski, Malloy(Linda) Smerechynki, and John Smerechynki(Dawnna Kiesman), as well as her grandchildren, Robert Gardner and Courtney Smerechynski and sister Lena Humeniuk and many nieces and nephews.
Mary grew up in Gardenton and married and raised her family in Elma and Whitemouth, where Mary and Nick enjoyed living, working, and contributing to their communities. She made many friends and could be seen on many drives with Nick around the community.
Prayers will be held in Winnipeg and funeral service in Hadashville.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Parkinson Society of Manitoba.
God accept you with ultimate peace and love, who is now the heavenly angel of this family.
