It is with great sadness we announce the quiet passing of our mom and mémère Alice Emma Vielfaure at the St. Boniface Hospital on Monday, March 17th, 2014.
Alice lived a blessed life full of love and faith. She passed on her appetite for life to three following generations.
Left to cherish her memories are her five beloved children, Raymond (Doris), Rita Bazin (Bertrand), Ronald (Denise), Maurice (Denise), and Valérie Theriot (Randy). She will also be sadly missed by her 13 grandchildren, Renée Manaigre (Pierre), Marc (Tara), Danielle, David (Nadine), Amanda Fyfe (Alastair), Alexandre, Angèle Bisson (Gaétan), Joanne Romaniuk (Jack), Alain (Kayla), Louanne Trudeau (Daniel), Jocelyn (Cristina), Natalie, Carmen and her nine great-grandchildren Émilie, Caroline, Isabelle, Alyssa, Mick, Zachary, Alexcis, Serena and Jérôme. Also close to her heart were her siblings Yvette Nadeau, s.g.m., Léo (Marie-Thérèse), Laurette Sorin (Jules), Aimé (Angela), Annette Gosselin (Roland), Anita Bisson (Gerard), Georges, o.m.i., Adèle Vermette (Claude), Denis (Colette).
Alice was predeceased by her husband Raoul, her parents Aimé and Léa Goulet, her siblings Cécile St. Vincent (Joseph), Maurice (Denise), Father Robert Nadeau and Lucie.
The Vielfaure family would like to thank the staff at St. Anne’s Hospital and St. Boniface Palliative Care for their professionalism and expertise. Also a special thanks to all family and friends for their prayers and support.
Prayers, followed by Mass of the Resurrection, will be celebrated on Friday, March 21st at 4:00 p.m. at St. Joachim Roman Catholic Church, La Broquerie. Father Camille Becho Doh will preside.
If friends and family so desire, donations may be made to the Ste-Anne Hospital Fund.
