PETER DAVID BROESKY

Peter David Broesky, at the age of 65, went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 6, 2014 at 6:45 am at Bethesda Hospital, due to heart and lung complications.

Leaving behind to cherish his memory and waiting to see him again: his loving wife Edith of 47 years and his special children Shelley and Tanis (Darren), two wonderful grandchildren Alexandra and Jack, and one dear great-grandson Zachary.
He came from a family of 16 children. Surviving him are Abe (Helen), Martin (Janyce), Jake (Betty), Alvina (Leonard), Helen (Abe), Frank (Linda), Bill (Susan), Shirley, Dennis (Sharon), Ken and Ron, sister-in-law Helen, and brother-in-law Henry (Anna deceased).

He was predeceased by his parents John and Justina, two brothers: Johnny and Cornie; two sisters: Margaret and Mary; two sisters-in-law: Frieda and Vickie; and brother-in-law Jay.

Peter spent a good many years as owner of Broesky Bros. Body Shop. He chose to retire early to spend time with his wife and family. He enjoyed being outdoors. In this time, he also strived to help and minister to as many people as possible, being mindful to remember our Lord’s command to remember the poor.

Your crown awaits you Peter – your mission is accomplished! You will be missed – we love you and anticipate our reunion when you welcome us all home!

Special thanks to all the loving care he received from the nursing staff and doctors at the hospitals. (It means a lot to us all that he was comfortable and content in his last days.)

The home going service will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, with interment at Heritage Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the chapel prior to the service.
