AIME LAMBERT
It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of Aime at the age of 87 years on February 14, 2014 at Bethesda Hospital, Steinbach, Manitoba, following a two and a half year battle with cancer.
Dad was born April 20, 1926 in Sandilands. On June 7, 1947, he married Agnes Therrien and they settled in Sandilands. Dad worked in the bush cutting pulp wood and from 1956 until his retirement in 1991, he worked for the Department of Forestry.
Dad enjoyed going to fall suppers, dances at Lonesand Hall, to Woodridge for coffee, hanging out at Kenny’s garage and spending time with his buddy, the late Raymond Chatel. He also enjoyed snowmobiling and riding his quad, especially with his grandsons.
Dad is survived by his wife Agnes, two daughters: Rose (Frank) Cancade and Marlene (David) Kiansky; and two grandsons who were the joy of his life: Ryan (Jacqueline) Kiansky and Scott (Sanja) Kiansky. He is also survived by one sister Eveline Telliet, one half-sister Grace (Ed) Warkentine, one half-brother Fern (June) Lambert, one step-sister Gabrielle Chikoski, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. R. Gumber and Dr. D. Reimer and all the staff at Bethesda Hospital for their care of Dad.
As per Dad’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held. A private family ash interment will be held at a later date.

My belated condolences for the Lambert and Therrien families. Aime Lambert's mother Regina Girouard, is first cousin to my late father Adrien Girouard. I'm doing the research for the Girouard family tree and would like to know my cousins. - Posted by: Richard Girouard (2nd cousin on the Girouard side of the family.) on: Nov 03, 2020
