LISA ANNE PARSONS
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the accidental passing of Lisa Anne Parsons (Slute) on February 1st, 2014 at the age of 37 years.
Lisa was born September 15, 1976 in Winnipeg to Allan and Virginia Slute of La Broquerie. She graduated from Ste. Anne Collegiate. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Science at Brandon University. She married Shawn Parsons on August 7, 1999.
Lisa had a passion for life and loved being with her family. Lisa took pride in her career which allowed her to travel the world. She enjoyed many activities including hiking with her dogs, horseback riding, toastmasters, learning French and violin.
She is survived by her husband Shawn Parsons, parents Allan and Virginia Slute, father-in-law Francis Parsons, sister-in-law Samantha (Roger), six sisters and two brothers: Sylvia (Garry), Angela (Jake), Laura Lee (Tim), Sherry (Neil), Dale (Jane), Rosanna (Chris), Amanda (Rory) and Calvin (Dailyn); thirteen nieces and nephews, and one grandnephew.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, mother-in-law Marie Parsons and nephew Tyler Broesky.
Her wonderful spirit, joy, and enthusiasm for life will be celebrated on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lisa may be made to World Vision, Canada.
