She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and very best of friend to all whose lives she touched in her 85 years of life. Yvette loved to cook, kept an immaculate house and was highly skilled in making sure everyone always knew how she felt. With her witty sense of humour, she was sure to leave an impression with everyone she met.
She leaves daughter Bev (Myles), and daughter-in-law Marilyn to mourn her passing. She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Lisa (Dan), Les (Donna), Jazz, and great-grandson Shane.
Yvette was predeceased by her son Randy Chodak, and by her devoted husband Mike Chodak.
Yvette and Mike will be dearly missed by all who were touched by their love for family and life.
A private funeral will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
