FRANCES MARION REID
Frances was predeceased by her husband Janusz Burzynski, her parents, Agnes and Cecil Reid; and sister-in-law Margaret. She is survived by her brother Brian; nieces, Susanna and Jennifer; nephew David (Mary); great-niece Lilly; and great-nephews, John, Cameron, Elijah, and Owen.
Frances also leaves Roland Burzynski and Janet Dooma and their families.
Frances was a devoted nurse who contributed a lot to the nursing profession. Originally from Kenora, she loved the Lake of the Woods and enjoyed time with her family at the lake. Frances was passionate about music; she played piano and was an accomplished singer and performer. Frances was an enthusiastic and generous person who truly valued and cared for her friends and family. She will be missed.

Francie (as we called her in nrsg school and later as a colleague) was an amazing talent who exuded joy in life even when life was not full of rainbows. I will always remember the “smiley” face signatures and the example she set of being true to oneself.
