VERNA JOAN TONER

Peacefully, as the sun came up on October 9, 2020, Verna Joan Toner passed away. It was rough for her these past few weeks, but Verna kept up her good spirits and sense of humour as she reminisced with friends and family and the caring staff at Concordia Hospital. Being bedridden was uncomfortable and Verna often complained of being itchy; but she didn't complain about the itching on her back as she said that was her angel wings coming out.
Friends and family will remember Verna's caring nature and her sense of humour, and they will miss her fine baking. In her last days Verna spoke of looking forward to seeing her Mom and Dad, her husband Pat, and all her friends and relatives that passed before her.
Verna was loved and will be missed by her son Robert with Taifen and their daughter Emma; and her daughter Lynn with Brian and their daughters, Lisa and Kelly.
