JOAN ELAINE JONCAS
March 30, 1942 - October 9, 2020

On Friday October 9, 2020, Joan passed away after health complications in St. Boniface Hospital.
Joan leaves behind her loving daughter, Katherine (Robert) Blunderfield; her pride and joy granddaughters, Amber and Britney, along with numerous nieces and nephews who loved her very much.
Joan was predeceased by her loving husband Jacques; her father Frederick; her mother Alma; sisters, Merle, Phyllis and Francis; brothers, James and Harold and daughter Tammy Lynn.
Joan was a women of many opinions, who loved to share with anyone willing to listen, without holding anything back. Joan was born in Winnipeg and hitchhiked to Montreal where she met her husband Jacques. Joan and Jacques got married on July 18, 1964 and proceeded to have two daughters, Tammy Lynn (1965) and Katherine (1968). They moved to Winnipeg in 1977. Joan worked at Boeing for over 25 years. She was happiest spending time with friends and family.
Cremation has taken place and the service arrangements will be announced at a later time.
