PATRICIA YVONNE BURNS
Having only just lost her beloved husband Jack, who predeceased her by four weeks, she heard his call. Now they are reunited and likely square dancing together in the heavens.
Patricia was adventurous and met her husband, Jack, on a trip to Hawaii in 1956, an exotic destination for the times that few Canadians had visited. He would often describe meeting Patricia as a "dream come true." They would return several times with their children and later their grandchildren, to celebrate the good fortune of finding each other.
Patricia's passion was her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who would not miss any opportunity to be present in their lives. Patricia also loved travelling, whether to Europe or across North America in Jack's customized van.
Patricia is survived by her daughter Barbara (Bill), son, Bradford (Martine), grandchildren, Jennifer, Jocelynn, Simon, and Philippe, and her brother, Jim.
A special thanks to those who in recent times offered care and friendship. In particular, the family is so grateful for Karen Perez and the wonderful and caring staff of Bethany Harvest Hills, who went above and beyond.
Patricia's Celebration of Life will take place online, October 24 at 11:00 a.m., Calgary time. Please RSVP at https://bit.ly/34PLvq7.

Much love to you Brad, Martine and boys as you go through the loss of your mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. Such a sad time particularly after the recent loss of your father. You are what you are because of them both.....and I think they did a wonderful job! You are a special man and you will continue to honour their memory by just being you. 💔 - Posted by: Jan Bedson (Friend) on: Oct 17, 2020
Brad, I am sorry to read of not only your mom but also your dad's death. Your parents were always thoughtful and caring. I still have memories of our time in the CUC choir. May you cherish all memories. Jack and Pat are together now keeping watch over their family and friends. God bless - Posted by: Rena Corbett (Cochrane) (Friend) on: Oct 17, 2020
