CECILE SODOMSKY
Cecile was born to Aaron and Sarah Mellon in December 1931. She married the late David Sodomsky in February 1952. They lived together in Winnipeg for 56 years, where they raised their five children, Bill (Cathy), Moses (Julie), Darlene, Evie and Sean (Connie), in a well cared for home.
Cecile is survived by her children; 12 grandchildren, Lauren (Ryan), Jordan (Cora), Matthew, Aaron (Kirsten), Matthew (Megan), Sarah, Josh, Daniel (Allison), Amy (Jonny), Sara, Noah and Ethan; seven great-grandchildren, Asher, Olivia, David, Vivienne, Vincent, Frieda and Ella and her brother Harvey (Lorraine).
Cecile leaves behind beautiful memories of traditional holiday meals with "everything homemade," a strong belief in the freedom to be yourself and make peace. She was immensely proud of family legacy.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the doctors and staff at the Simkin Centre for their kind and compassionate care.
