For Dan, Dan was one of the most compassionate souls I have ever come across. In the 40 some years that I knew him, I don't think I ever saw him angry. He was the type of person that not only attentively listened, but often felt compelled to relate to your experiences. If there was one thing that touched Dan deeply, it was the pride he had in his children. He would beam whenever he spoke of Cindy or Jason. As far as I could tell, they were the purpose in his life. All of us in the Botan family that knew Dan, will miss him. He was truly one of a kind. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Cindy & Jason and their families and Lorraine We will miss you Dan - Posted by: Peter Botan (cousin) on: Oct 17, 2020

I am Dennis’ cousin. His mother Kay and my mother Olga were sisters. Dennis and his parents came to Rorketon several times when we lived on a farm there. I remember playing with Dennis and Beverley and Doreen at that time. Long years ago. My condolences to his surviving family. - Posted by: Audrhea Lande nee Aho (Maternal cousin) on: Oct 17, 2020
