NORMAN DWIGHT LANGDON SPARKS
As the youngest to John and Clara Sparks, he will be missed by his wife of 54 years, Lillian, Daughter Dawn, Brother Doug (Paulette), Grandson, Langdon (Emma) and many others.
He was a man of many talents and ambitions who always managed to keep himself busy with little projects and improvements to anything he could get his hands on around the house, and always willing to help friends and neighbours.
He dedicated the majority of his working life to his owned and operated business Miracle Plastics, which allowed him to apply his mechanical prowess and always kept him on the go.
He was a proud member of multiple car clubs and heavily invested into the Navy League of Canada.
He loved working on his classic cars throughout the years and spent many hours working late into the nights in the garage.
He was a man who loved life and shared every moment with those around him to the fullest.
You will always be loved and deeply missed!
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Siloam Mission or a charity of your choosing.

Condolences & Memories (6 entries)
Condolences to Lillian and the Sparks family. I had the good fortune of working with Norm through his Navy League of Canada association specifically with the Cornwell (Winnipeg) Navy League Branch in support of the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps John Travers Cornwell VC. Norm took great pride in Branch pursuits as it provided him the opportunity to rekindle his days as a Sea Cadet with the cadet corps while giving back to the program that gave him a solid footing in his younger days. Norm's energy and enthusiasm lead to his sound stewardship as a Navy League Branch President and ultimately as the Navy League Manitoba Division President. Norm’s desire to foster positive youth development through the Winnipeg Navy League Cadet and Sea Cadet programs will be a great loss. He will be sadly missed by all his Navy League of Canada colleagues. Rick Hunt - Posted by: Rick Hunt (Friend / Colleague) on: Oct 19, 2020

To Lillian, Dawn and family my prayers and thoughts are with you through your loss. I was fortunate to get to know and befriend Norm through the North End Salisbury House. Norm certainly had many interesting experiences in his journey through life. The common thread in his experiences was his interest to learn and not shy away from challenges. Norm showed me his restoration projects in older vehicles and gave the history behind his antique's. We really became connected through music. Norm also enjoyed playing the guitar and we formed a community band. We all enjoyed playing and practising music at Norm's house in fact we also got out and played some gig's (great fun!). Norman it was wonderful that you became part of my life and we became friends. Till we meet again Norm. - Posted by: Walter Petik (Friend) on: Oct 17, 2020
