It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Lee/mom passed away peacefully on
October 6, 2020 with family at her side. After a month of health issues, her prayers were answered to go "home above" to be with her Saviour and Lord.
Beloved wife of Ken Mitchell of 38 years, predeceased by ex-husband Pat Sowsun, adored mother of Michael Sowsun (Manuela), Stephen Sowsun (Kathryn) and Lisa Sowsun (Chris), Gregor Mitchell (Monique), and
Malcolm Mitchell. She will be lovingly
remembered as "Baba Lee" by her grand-children and great-grandchildren. Lee will be dearly missed by her siblings and many
nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and
neighbours.
A private service has taken place at the church she attended in Oakville, ON for many years.

Dear Family...I am saddened to hear that you lost Lee as she was such an beautiful part of everyone's lives. She enriched my life by always being so kind and caring to me when I was a child. When our parents were getting together for dinner she showed me how to very carefully tear the romaine for the Ceasar’s Salad and that always stuck with me.
