REGIS MEILLEUR
Regis was born on October 29, 1923, and was the oldest son of Moise and Delia Meilleur. He grew up in Fisher Branch, MB, where he learned to play fiddle. It is there where he married Lucy Vandersteen (October 1945).
During that 75 years of marriage, Regis and Lucy were parents to 11 children. Richard (Giselle), Elmer (Irma), Phillip (Annette), Rita (Ray), Jerry (Michelle), Judy (Russell), Ken (Erna), Theresa (Bill) Roger, Wayne (Sherry), Joyce (Marc).
Regis was predeceased by sons, Roger, Richard; daughter-in-law, Giselle; and son-in-law, Russell. He is survived by his sister, Laurie Means (Colorado, US); nine children, 26 grandchildren, and 36 great-grandchildren.
A small family service will be held in the spring.
Special thanks go out to the staff at Foyer Valade for their kindness and compassion they displayed towards our father. Their dedicated service, even during a global pandemic, will never be forgotten.
