Date of Passing: Oct 15, 2020Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or Memory
1935 - 2020
In loving memory and with great sadness, we announce the passing of our precious mother and memère, Marcelle Desrosiers (née Comeau).
Mom has now joined our dad, (Angel Maurice). They are now united as our guardian angels watching over us.
Marcelle left us on October 15, 2020 with exceptional memories and lots of love. The saddest moment is when the person who gave us those best memories becomes a memory.
Left to forever cherish her memory are her children, Gerald (Nancy) and their children Kyle, Christopher and Katie, Michel (Sue), Russell (Rachelle) and their children Matthieu and Josée and Roxanne (Michel) and her son Riley, and special niece Gisèle.
She was also survived by two sisters, Sr. Aline Comeau (Sisters of the Cross) and Laurette Joyal, sisters-in-law Gisele Morin-Comeau and Aurise Comeau (Jean), sisters and brothers-in-law from her beloved Maurice's family as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mom's caring spirit showed in her 34 years of working in the teaching profession where she made many close friends.
After retiring from teaching she found new adventures in knitting, sewing, and especially gift giving.
After the tears, the memories of our dear mom and memère will always make us smile. Her enthusiasm, creativity, humor, energy and zest for life will be sadly missed.
We owe a great deal of gratitude to the loving and caring Community Palliative Care nurse Yohannes, nurses, healthcare aides and professionals at Riverview Health Centre for the compassionate care given to our mom. Merci to Dr. Fredette and Dr. St. Goddard.
Due to covid-19 restrictions, a private family service and interment will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral and Cemetery.
Donations may be made in memory of Marcelle to the Palliative Care Unit at Riverview Health Centre.
Family and friends may sign a book of condolence at www.glenlawn.ca.

You had to smile in Marcelle’s presence, it was impossible not to. She was a giving, caring and lovable person. She had style, not only in the way she dressed but her whole demeanour. A lot of good memories. The ones at the cabin hosted by Roxanne will always stick with me. It made her so happy that she could share that with her friends. Good food and good company, how could we go wrong!!! - Posted by: Line Courcelles (Friend) on: Oct 17, 2020

Beaux souvenirs - Posted by: Nicole Forest Lavergne (Connaissance ICSM) on: Oct 17, 2020
