It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Jim Schwab on October 20, 2020, at the Selkirk General Hospital, at the age of 81 years.

We will always remember
the way you looked,
the way you walked and smiled.
All the things you did for us
will be with us all the while.
You always did your best,
your heart was true and tender,
you lived your life for those you loved
and those you loved will remember.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jill; and children, Laurie, Deborah, Kelly and Jamie; and stepsons Graham, Todd.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

Condolences & Memories (13 entries)

  • I feel peace in my heart that I had the opportunity to say these heartfelt words to my Dad. Hey Dad... Have I told you lately how much you mean to me? Have I told you how much I appreciate everything you've done for me and have been to me throughout the years? Have I told you "thank you" for the lifetime of happy memories and opportunities that you gave to me and the love that made me who I am today? Have I told you lately how much I love you? If not, let me tell you today... "I LOVE YOU Dad," with all my heart. ❤ Your "first" daughter, Laurie Anne - Posted by: Laurie Freisinger (Daughter) on: Nov 23, 2020
