MARK CORWIN WIEBE
January 1, 1969 - October 5, 2020

It is with great sorrow that we announce that Mark Wiebe, our beloved son, brother, family member, passed away unexpectedly on October 5, 2020, driving home from work.
Mark leaves behind his parents, George and Nellie; brothers, Brent and Daryl; and sister Laura, along with their families, as well as extended family and numerous friends from all over the world.
A live-streaming visitation will be held at Henderson's Funeral Home in Chilliwack on October 31, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., British Columbia time.
Thank you to all the friends who became his local family where ever he was. Some of you have become like family to me already. I appreciate you so much. Jay, Jolene, and Jake, I love you. I would never have been able to get through this without your support. I also want to thank Michelle and Nicki at Royal Columbian Hospital and Sgt. Porcher and Cst. Fuller. You all went out of your way for me, far exceeding your obligations to help me through this time. Thank you.
In lieu of flowers, I'm sure Mark would appreciate a donation to the Youth for Christ in Winnipeg (204-996-4205). They contributed greatly to his life, and the man he became.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Mark and I had known each other for 24 years, small town farm boys thrown together in the big city. It was not to long before we could finish each others sentences. A kindred soul, he truly had a zest for life that few of us could match or will see again. Larger than life when in "full tilt boggie" mode... Mark also had a depth of character and eloquence that enhanced our lives with his immense range in kindness, compassion, and empathy. Today, I have a hole in my heart that I can only hope will be healed with fond memories of our times spent together, the colorful stories of his adventures, and the echoes of his boisterous laughter as it carries across the room like a soothing wave of joy. - Posted by: Adrian Laukkanen (Friend) on: Nov 05, 2020

  • I will always remember Mark as his classmates do - full of a happy kindness he extended to everyone equally. Thank-you Mark, for just being yourself and treating everyone with dignity. Your light remains! - Posted by: Heather Peters (Highschool classmate) on: Oct 31, 2020
