ADAMO: Pietro (Peter) Adamo, March 29, 1966 - October 15, 2020. Surrounded by his family, we are heart-broken to announce the passing of Peter on October 15,2020. Peter was born in Italy. In 1967, he immigrated to Brandon with his parents and sisters. Peter touched the lives of so many through his commitment, loyalty, generosity, fun loving spirit, and this can be attributed to the standard set by his mother. Peter's strong work ethic came from his father. Not only did he work long hours, but his job took him to places away from his family and friends. He worked the railroads in Canada and Mexico. His most recent job was working on the pipelines in Western Canada. Peter had a special bond with his two older sisters. They laughed, cried, and even fought sometimes, but they knew that they could always count on one another. He affectionately referred to them as "Little Sister" and "Shi Shi". A piece of their hearts will always be with him, and the bond they shared will never be broken. He was the fun loving, favorite uncle to Maria and Alex. In 2012, Peter met his love Dru. It didn't take him long to know she was the one, so much so, that he asked Dalton for his blessing to marry his mom. Their happy place together was at the lake. They loved fishing, boating, and spending time there with each other and their friends. Although their time together was short, they shared more happy than bad times, and created a lot of wonderful memories. Missed and dearly loved by his father Frank; fiancé Dru, Dalton (Erin); his sisters: Anne, niece Maria; Cindy (Jacques), nephew Alexandre; his dogs Willow and Bella; and numerous family and friends throughout Canada and Italy. Peter was predeceased by his loving mother Pina, and brother-in-law Gary. In keeping with Peter's caring and generous spirit, his final act was to give the gift of life through organ donation. Due to Covid restrictions a memorial service for Peter will be held at a later date.

Peter was a student of mine at Crocus Plains. I remember his kindness when he showed up with his truck and auger to help dig the post holes for my fence. I was very grateful for his assistance. I am very sorry to learn of his passing. - Posted by: Clifford Ramcharan (Teacher) on: Oct 31, 2020
