BRUCE NELSON MCKAUGHAN
November 24, 1963 - October 22, 2020
More wounded than anyone knew, he served with a purity of duty to the end. This is who he was, a chivalrous warrior in God's army. He came to that deep, personal relationship with the Lord later in life. A favourite declaration of his was, "With Jesus in our hearts, it works - Our love, our tender care for one another, our sacrifices for each other".
Bruce's beautiful and humble heart leaves a legacy of people behind to miss his special spirit of caring. A mother, Jocelyn, his brother, Martin, lifelong friend, Lorne, and his family...uncles, aunts, cousins, and many people from all walks of life who were touched by his generous, kind heart.
One Sunday, driving home from church, Bruce looked at me and said, "For the first time in my life, I feel like a family man."
I, Elfrieda, (Kitty, Miss El)...oh, you
had names for me...I will miss you dearly
and my family who knew you, as a true gentleman. We bless you with rest and love
in that kingdom where suffering is no more. Catch up on things with Garnet, your dear father. I pray we will impart your legacy
of love...as you wish!
Due to Covid restrictions, there will be no service at this time.

BRUCE NELSON MCKAUGHAN
November 24, 1963 - October 22, 2020
Bruce leaves to mourn his loving mother Jocelyn McKaughan, his brother Martin McKaughan, his close companion El Guenther, long-standing best friend Lorne Edwards, as well as his aunts, uncles, and many many others. He was predeceased by his father Garnet McKaughan in August, 2003, and his common-law partner Odette Dequier in December, 2008.
Bruce was a true gentleman and was very passionate about meeting and helping people in any way he could. He will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and his enormous generosity. He volunteered countless hours at Springs Church, and enjoyed singing, music and many of the arts.
Bruce was also passionate about vehicles and worked as a professional long-distance driver and trainer in the trucking industry (Bison Transport, Yankee Transport, and Kleysen Group), where he received recognition and awards for his exemplary service, hard work, and safety record. He was also a member of the Manitoba Mopar Association and absolutely loved attending car shows, cruises, and special events with his collection of vehicles.
