• She was a woman that lost her husband when she still had 7 children to care for. The eldest was 6 yrs old and the youngest was 9 months when her husband passed. She brought up these children on her own, never complaining and doing the best she was able. She experienced the joy of having grand-children and great-grand-children. All were welcome with open arms in her small 2 bedroom apartment, for Xmas, for holidays or any other time of the year. She would say, "help yourself" to all the delicious food she spent hours lovingly preparing. She loved and bragged about each and every one of her children, grand-children and great-grand-children. This was the TOUGHEST, STRONGEST woman that had the most SPUNK that I had ever known. I am so proud to have called her MY MOM. Until we see each other again MOM.
