With deepest sorrow and heartbreak, we announce the sudden passing of our mother Shirley Joy Phizacklea on October 25, 2020, at the age of 89 years old.
Shirley is predeceased by her late husband Allan Nelson Phizacklea; her parents, Edith and George; her sisters, Marge (Wilf Albi) Doreen (Ralph Luke); and her brothers, Russell (Bernice), Gordon; and her late mother-in-law Lillian Phizacklea.
Mourning her death are her children, Krista, Alanna, Dianne and Sherrill; her four grandchildren, Steven, Mark , Jennifer and Sean; and her great-grandchildren, Sophie, Kate and Grayson.
Shirley was born in Winnipeg in 1931. She worked at the Manitoba Legislature before she met her husband Allan Phizacklea (Senior VP of Molsons Breweries), whom she was married to for 55 years .
She was a hardworking person who enjoyed travelling, loved fashion and decorating her many beautiful homes in Canada.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral home in the very near future.
