It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roberta Chartrand from St. Laurent, MB, on October 31, 2020.
Roberta was predeceased by her parents, Edger and Suzanne; and father in-law Roy.
She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Roger; her children, Jason (Vanessa), Jessica (Wayland); and her grandchildren, Dylann, Ramsey and Oliver; mother-in-law Hilda, her sisters and brothers, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Roberta enjoyed life to its fullest sharing every experience with Roger. She lived a simple life, with simple pleasures. Family being together and looking out for each other was always important to her. Spending time with her grandchildren was one of her favourite pastimes.
She was kind, loving, caring, and always putting others before herself.
Roberta was born and raised in St. Laurent, moved to Winnipeg to raise her family. Retired and moved back to her roots in St. Laurent where she continued to fish, garden, go camping, golf, play and watch over her grandchildren.
The world was brighter because of you.

I had the privilege of working with Roberta for many years. Through this Bea and I met Roger, Jason, and Jessica. She was truly a great person with a great heart.
