LINDA CLARE ALLEN
She is survived by her sons, Blaine and Jon, as well as siblings, Arlene, Melba and Darryl. She was also blessed with eight grandchildren. Linda loved and adored her family and embraced the world with open arms.
Linda was born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan to August and Clara (Bengert) Schalla. After marrying and moving to Winnipeg she held multiple positions at the Legislative Building under the NDP government. From there she went on to become the Programs Director at Winnipeg Boys and Girls Clubs focused on giving guidance and direction to Winnipeg's inner-city youth. After that she started her own consulting company. She would go on to run campaigns for local city councillors and took contracts as the SAO in rural Nunavut communities. She would fearlessly embrace the unknown and accept any challenge that presented itself. She would eventually retire in Osoyoos, BC.
Faith was a large part of Linda's life and she was very involved in the churches and communities anywhere the lord took her. She walked tall and proud knowing that God was with her. Linda dedicated her life to helping others. She would listen with patience, care with all her heart and had a moral compass that always pointed true north.

I was verry sorry to hear about Linda's passing. We worked together for many years at Wpg. Boys and Girls Clubs. As Director of Programs, Linda was very dedicated to helping the kids in the clubs and supporting and representing the staff concerns. She was a hard and tireless worker. Countless children and youth bennifited from her efforts. I valued her council and friendship. My condolances to Blaine and Jon and all her family. - Posted by: Mike Owen (Collegue) on: Nov 11, 2020

Linda was my pal, my confidante, my friend for many years. We went through many episodes in our lives together. I could always count on her to keep me moving forward. She loved her boys and their families unconditionally and kept me updated on their current situations in our frequent calls and emails. I last saw Linda when she came to see her siblings, hoping to help out in any way. Wish we'd had more time together. I will miss our chats and visits and hope you have your hat on up there! love Cheryl "Peach" - Posted by: Cheryl Mott (Friend ) on: Nov 08, 2020
