MARY MACKI
Born - January 4, 1941

With great sadness and heartbreak, I announce the passing of my sister, Mary Macki, on Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Maples Personal Care Home.
She leaves to treasure her memory her loving sister Jean Richter (Wendell), sister-in-law Elda, nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by parents, Basil and Caroline, brothers, Fred and Jerry, sister Helen, brother-in-law Daniel and sister-in-law Carol.
Mary was born in Winnipeg on January 4, 1941 where she lived her whole life. She was employed by Robinson Little for many years. She was an active member of Branch 141 where she loved to listen to music, dance and enjoy the company of her friends and other members. She loved to dine at Smitty's and the staff always greeted her by name.
She never missed family gatherings and thoroughly enjoyed being with loved ones. A long time resident of the Polish Manor and most recently Arlington Haus where she was well taken care of by the wonderful staff. Mary was a caring and loving person and had a quality of seeing good in the way she saw things.
A very special thanks to my niece Karen for all the great support given to me and being so present in Mary's life. She always managed to put a smile on her aunt's face.
We were blessed to have you in our lives and now we cherish you in our hearts.
With respect of Mary's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral service due to Covid-19 restrictions.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, to the Alzheimer Society or to a charity of choice.
