It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Irene Stabner on November 2, 2020, at E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital, Eriksdale, MB.
She was predeceased by her husband Fred; his parents, Adolf and Amanda Stabner; her father Rudolf Kiel, mother Olga and her husband Steve Malski, sister Linda Kiel, son Todd Stabner and son-in-law Mitch Lovic.
Left to cherish her memory are her son Skipp (Betty) Stabner, daughter Linda Stabner, daughter-in-law Joyce Stabner (Al Felbel); grandchildren, Scott Stabner (Amanda Brass), Sean (Michelle) Stabner; great-grandchildren, Andrew Brass, Amiley and Halley Stabner; sister Judy Andres, sister-in-law Lucy Stabner and brother-in-law Art (Carol) Stabner.
Mom enjoyed cooking and visiting with her family and friends. She was creative and learned many crafts such as ceramics, crocheting, knitting and sewing. She was an avid gardener and took pleasure in preserving and freezing the bounty from her garden. She had a great love of music and enjoyed playing guitar. She truly had a kind and generous heart.
Irene's family would like to thank her friends in the Lindell Manor for their friendship and support and to the staff at the E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital for the care they provided in her final days.
Cremation has taken place. A family graveside service will take place at a future date. Her wish was to be buried along with Fred at Hope Cemetery in Grahamdale, MB.

  • Sorry for your lose. It is with sadness and precious thoughts that Aunty has passed. May she RIP. My youth is filled with stable, loving memories of spending time at the farm with your family. Aunty and Uncle excepted me into their life as an extra child and helped me become the woman I am today. There where many good times like all the horses, threshing, playing downstairs and in the barn, working in the fields and much more. Times of happiness and laughter during my childhood. Memories that will keep living on. Love Brenda - Posted by: Brenda Roy (Niece) on: Nov 07, 2020
