CAROL FRANCES SPENCER
She was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Frances Spencer. Carol is lovingly remembered by her brothers, Bill (Rosalie), Terry (Diane) and Jim, as well as her nieces, Erin (Mark) and Lisa (Jon), and nephews, William (Anouk), Jason (Nadia) and Andrew (Josie).
Carol was born July 31, 1956 in Carman, MB and grew up in the Altamont area. She moved to Winnipeg after high school and worked for many years for the W.R.H.A. In 2009 she moved to Calgary. Carol loved following her favourite Winnipeg sports teams and also providing witty and intelligent commentary on the issues of the day.
The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to the staff of the Chinook Hospice and friend Rae Lynn Gates for providing care and support in Calgary.
A private interment will take place in Winnipeg at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Carol will be greatly missed by the Patient Food Service staff at VGH Winnipeg. She was witty, a great poet & philosopher. With incredible blue eyes & a hearty laugh. Her passion for Sports & All things Patrick Swayze could not be matched. I have very fond & fun memories of Carol. Peace be with you Carol.
