DONNA LYNN FILECCIA

It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Donna Lynn Fileccia on November 2, 2020, at the age of 79 years.
She was born November 18, 1940 to Edith and Melville Hardy in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
She was predeceased by her husband Frank. She leaves behind her loving partner Ken Wardle, her son Keith and his family (wife Marianna, grandchildren, Adam, Matthew, Kianna), her son Frank (Kerry) and his family, and her sidekick Simba cat.
Donna was an extremely strong women, overcoming many obstacles in her life. She was always active, with many hobbies and causes over the years. Whether it was sewing, her church activities, wine making, or many of her other interests she gave everything she did 100%.
Donna loved to travel, as a matter of fact, Ken's work (L&M Radiator) took them to Australia where they spent 4½ years, and made many lifelong friends.
A celebration of Donna's life will be planned for a date in the future.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson's Foundation or an animal shelter of your choice would be appreciated.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • So sorry to hear of her passing. Our prayers go out to Ken, Keith, Frank, and families. - Posted by: Tullio D'Ottavio (Friend ) on: Nov 14, 2020

  • My deepest sympathy goes out to Ken, Keith and Frank (Kerry) and their extended families. Donna was one of the strongest people I have ever known. She used to love playing murder mysteries with Ken, Keith, and me. We made a whole night entertaining and there was no limits to the designing of our costumes. Ken and Donna connected after losing their partners and had a relationship that was solid and supportive. Donna was full of life and will be missed by all who knew her. - Posted by: Ken Olsen (Family Friend) on: Nov 14, 2020
