ARLENE JANET GUIMOND
(nee ABRAHAM)
January 2, 1955 - November 4, 2020

It is with the heaviest of hearts we announce the passing of Arlene.
Arlene is survived by her loving husband Lloyd of 37 years. She is remembered by her four children, Roberta, Joseph (Shannon), Aaron (Diedre), and Justin (Ginger) and seven stepchildren, Floyd, Bradford, Vern (Carol), Barry, Denise (Claude), Todd and Darren, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren; sisters, Augusta and Tina, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Nellie Abraham; parents-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George M. Guimond; her sister Linda; and nieces, Elena and Tiffany.
Pallbearers are Vern, Preston, Edwin, Mario, Tim, Samuel.
Honorary pallbearers are grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Safe journey home, for now I'm free,
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard His call,
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to drive, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I've found that peace at the close
of the day.

If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savoured much,
Good friends, good times,
a loved ones touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Prayers now will help with grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.
