DENNIS STANLEY GEORGE COLTER
February 17, 1948 - October 10, 2020
Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to George and Della Colter, Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Heather (Frampton); children, Jeff (his wife Iryna and granddaughter Allison), Kris, Sherri; and sisters, Janice, and Kim; and their families.
Dennis built a beautiful life for his family. He started work in the meat industry in 1969 later to establish his own Meat Export Business in Vancouver in 1991, where he was joined by his sister Kim who coined him "Boss Hog." He built their family home in Saskatoon, and they spent many special summers with family at sister Janice, (John's) cottage in Manitoba.
Dennis lived his life to the fullest. He was a man who always took care of those he loved and he was there to support family and friends in times of need. He is fondly remembered for his tough exterior, with a very big soft spot, and a heart of gold.
Due to Covid, a digital zoom "life celebration" will be held in Dennis' memory. Please contact the family for details.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Dennis' honour.

Dennis was such a jokester who always brought a smile to my face. I only wished we lived closer, so I could have seen more of him! I know he'll be missed. Karen (Ruth Langley's daughter) Bethesda, Maryland, USA - Posted by: Karen Langley (cousin) on: Nov 15, 2020
