SHIRLEY DOREEN TRONRUD
September 8, 1932 - November 8, 2020
Shirley was predeceased by husband, Lloyd on August 1, 2000. Left to mourn her passing are her sons, Ken and Bryan, grandchildren, Tim and Sara, sisters, Beverley Copland and Delaura Weidenbacher.
Shirley was born in Canora, Saskatchewan, September 8, 1932. She was an outgoing person and had many friends that she kept in touch with over the years. In her younger years, she was active in sports and enjoyed curling with her husband, Lloyd. She was a very devoted wife and mother and loved spending time with her grandchildren. At the age of 85 she still enjoyed going boating and spotting for Tim and Sara who were tubing and knee boarding. She really enjoyed going for her summer vacations to visit her sister Delaura in Hope, BC. Also, one of her favourite pastimes was to go to bingo with her friend Carolyn. She was an avid fan of the Jets and Bombers.
Special thanks to Gwen Buchanan and Sharon Schwendener for all their help and support during this difficult time. Also, thanks to Rock Fontaine for all his support to the family.
There will be a graveside Celebration of Life at a later date.

Condolences & Memories (4 entries)
Shirley & the gang took great care of Anne (mom) at bingo. Our family really appreciated it. We shared a lot of stories and laughs at the bingo hall, and even some cookies. Shirley was always helping out others when ever there was a need. You will be missed, Colleen & Joe Friends of Shirley & Ken - Posted by: Colleen & Joe (Friend) on: Nov 25, 2020
Shirley was a member of approximately 12 ladies that performed "extension" services for Western Inventory in the 60's, 70's and 80's back when "comptometer's" were still a business tool. Shirley was a dedicated member of that group with an accuracy level that was unsurpassed. Always pleasant, quick to smile and a co-worker to be proud of...I have many fond memories of those days. Rest In Peace. - Posted by: Bob Cummings (Co-Worker) on: Nov 14, 2020
Shirley was such a good friend to our mom Joyce. They had always kept in touch and mom had given Shirley a fern plant from our house on Nottingham when we moved to Minnedosa in 1966. Shirley would proudly show me how the plant was still flourishing or tell me about it on the phone throughout the years. Sympathy to the family during this difficult time. - Posted by: Larry Bruce (Cousin to Lloyd) on: Nov 14, 2020
She Will Always Be Remembered As you share the stories and the memories of how she lived her life and how very much she meant, may you find comfort... And, throughout this difficult time, may you also know the deep sympathy and concern that is felt for you and all your family - Posted by: Valli & Bil lBarker (Friend and old co-workers) on: Nov 14, 2020
