MARIE STELLA ADAMS

Our dear sister and friend Marie passed away on the date of November 1, 2020, at the age of 99 years.
Marie was one of 17 children born to Iwan and Palahna Shuwera who farmed in the Caliento area of the R.M. of Stuartburn, Caliento, being close to the village of Vita, Manitoba.
Marie is survived by four sisters, Josie, Sophie, Paulina and Elaine, plus sister-in-law Elaine, and many, many nieces and nephews.
Marie married John Adams on March 6, 1948. They lived in Toronto for a time and then moved to the US, eventually both becoming naturalized Americans. During this period of time Marie and John had a baby boy born to them but sadly he passed away at the tender age of one and one-half years.
John worked at different jobs and he and Marie lived in various cities of the North-East of the U.S. including Chicago, IL, and Gary, IN. Marie's husband passed away in December, 1968.
With the help of family, Marie moved back to Canada in 1997 and resided at different addresses, the last being Kildonan Personal Care Home, 1970 Henderson Hwy.
Marie was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness in Toronto on July 24, 1954 and remained faithful to her God Jehovah until her death.
Marie made many friends amongst her brothers and sisters in her faith of choice and will always be remembered for her generosity, humility and her loyalty to her God Jehovah.
She had been a member of the River East Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for a number of years until her demise and will be remembered also by those who knew her.
Thank you to the nurses Marcie, Allan, and Sadia on the third floor of the Kildonan Personal Care Home, 1970 Henderson Hwy., for the diligent care of Marie in her time of need.
There will be no funeral or memorial arrangements observed.

John 5:28,29.
