PATRICIA MARY MAY GRANKE
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Harold; children, Robert (Lynn), Gary (Naomi), and Elaine Gelhorn (Bruce); grandmother of Jonathan (Jennifer), Sarah, Brett (Lisa Adams), Carl Granke (Lesley Schiller), Reid Granke (Katie Lavoie), Jamie Morrison (Daniel), Sarah Osswald (Matthew), Heidi Gelhorn, Leif Gelhorn (Diana Schreibmaier). Great-grandmother of Marley, Mason, Noah, Grady, and Becket, Lenni and June. Predeceased by her father Percy Hibbert and mother Freda (nee Ferguson). She is also survived by her brother Kenneth Hibbert (nieces, Barbara and Kathleen).
Pat cherished her marriage to Harold and embraced her role as mother, and then grandmother and great-grandmother. She excelled as a caring and nurturing person whose priority was to offer support and love to her family. A warm smile and listening ear greeted all she met, with kindness. She always had room in her heart for those in need or facing injustice, a value that her family recognized and lived out in many different ways. She was a role model for many and friend to those who got to know her as trustworthy and fun to be with, whether it was playing cards or board games, or sharing about life's challenges.
Patricia was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church for more than 50 years, a community that was very important to her and in which she delighted. Her faith was a guide that provided direction and support.
A memorial service, to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
She will be missed by all, loved
and remembered forever.

Our deepest condolences to Harold on passing of your beloved wife, Pat. Your long life together will provide you with many memories that you will cherish forever. We got to visit with & know you both while you lived on the third floor at Prairie Landing Apts. We had many conversations with you both in the hallway/common areas, at pot luck suppers & bingos. Although as in most places we can no longer get together due to Covid , Harold I always enjoyed our early Monday morning conversations while we waited for the coffee pot light to turn red. Hope you are enjoying your new home. You are in our thoughts. Marlene & Doug Hanson Suite # 314 - Posted by: Hanson Marlene (Friend from Prairie Landing Apts # 314) on: Nov 21, 2020
