She leaves behind her children, Cameron (Laura) and Christopher; and grandchildren, Elise, Nadine, Zachary and Mackenzie.
Born a New Years' baby in Altona, Manitoba she subsequently moved to Winnipeg with her parents and older brother. Initially she helped with the family business, running a service station. As she got older, she worked at Van Buren's. At that time, she went to school at Pembina Crest followed by Vincent Massey. Many lifelong friendships started at this time.
Throughout her life she enjoyed a wide variety of activities, curling when she was younger, the Red Hat Society when she was older. Mysteries were her passion, both in the book and on the screen. She enjoyed socializing with others and during the day, the one place you would never find her would be at home.
She was very devout in her faith and firmly believed in getting the most out of life.
Special thanks to Dr. Brian Sharkey, Dr. Tim Matsubara and Dr. Patty Griffin for easing the burden.
Due to the ongoing pandemic a service will not take place. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
