LINDA KAPITANY

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sister, Linda, on November 16, 2020, at the Grace Hospice.
Linda leaves behind a loving family, brothers, Jack (Coby) David, Cheryl and family, John (Allison), Michael (Hannah), Christine (Grant), Linda (Rob), James; and her great-nieces and nephews; as well as cousins, Gloria (Archie) and family of Calgary, AB. She also leaves her husband's family, Bob (Sheryl), Doug (Judy), Michelle (Phil), Megan (Chris) and their children, and Gerry (Marilyn).
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Alex (Kap) in 2004; her father in 1971; and her mother in 2002.
Linda enjoyed gardening, reading, shopping, travelling to many places, and most of all, spending time with her nieces and nephews. Linda also enjoyed going out to Phil and Michelle's, and spending time with their great-grandchildren, also when the girls did their skating.
At Linda's request, a private service for immediate family will be held.
Linda would like to thank the home care ladies for all their help.
A special thank you to her brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Coby, for all the help they gave me, so appreciated.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I'm so sorry for your loss, Jack, Coby, John, and Allison. Linda always seemed to me to be a fine person. Erika - Posted by: Erika (Klein) Krolman (cousin) on: Nov 23, 2020

  • So sorry for your loss. Sure will miss her. Talked to her the previous week and she sounded so good. We had some fun times at coffee breaks at Eatons, along with Gloria. Remember meeting every Christmas for lunch. After Eaton's closed we went to the Paddlewheel, loved it. Finally we met at Olive Garden by Polo Park. She was a very kind and gentle person. I know she was in a lot of pain for a long time, now she can rest in peace. I have my fond memories of her, she is missed. Lexie - Posted by: Lexie Gregorchuk (Long time friend) on: Nov 23, 2020
