Condolences & Memories (5 entries)
I am sad to hear of Maurice's passing. I was his teacher when he was in Grade two in the old Haland School. He was a quiet, loving little boy, and a pleasure to teach. I have met with him at social gatherings over the years and we always had a visit. My deepest sympathy to his family. Sincerely, Freida Kunzelman Jorheim - Posted by: Freida Kunzelman Jorheim (Teacher) on: Nov 24, 2020

Condolences to Lynda and family. - Posted by: Dianne (Colleague of Lynda) on: Nov 21, 2020
Lynda and I have known each other for years when she worked as Educational Assistant at Westwood School where I taught Physical Education. Being a member of 100 Km Swim Club in Thompson, I frequently used the Norplex Pool facilities and it was there that I met Maurice. It was apparent that he was a caring and devoted husband to Lynda and enjoyed attending Sunday services with her. Maurice was a loving and indulgent father devoted to his children and grandchildren. The loving way they were raised is exemplary. What a beautiful life he lived. To the Chartrand Family I wish you peace and comfort as you grieve. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. - Posted by: Fe' Gutierrez and Family (Friend) on: Nov 21, 2020
