EDNA SIEMENS

1942-2020

Edna Helen Siemens of Tofield, Alberta passed away peacefully after unexpected illness on November 10, 2020 with her niece, Cindy (Loewen) Drutz, by her side.

Edna was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to John and Helen (Funk) Siemens of Steinbach, Manitoba, and is survived by one sister, Mildred Loewen, and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her immediate family: son, Michael; husband, Tom; daughter, Marcia; as well as brother, John, and sister Ruth (Klassen).

Edna was loved in each of the senior’s lodges where she resided over the past few years; most recently a move to Tofield, AB, to be near family. She made friends easily, always eager to help others, playing piano for sing-alongs, building puzzles, and engaging in conversations that brought laughter and joy. Edna was an avid reader and had a love for genealogy that enabled her to meet many new relatives. We will miss her dearly but are thankful to know that we will be together again one day.
