On Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020, Heaven reached down and called our precious mom and grandmother, Jessie Bergen (nee Klassen), home. Jessie passed away peacefully at the Bethesda Personal Care Home, Steinbach, MB, at the age of 91.
Left to mourn her passing are her children, Lawrence (Irma) Bergen, Shirley Konowalchuk (Mike), Brenda Jaques (Randy), daughter-in-law Karen (Dan) Goertzen; grandchildren, Lawrence Jr, Marc, James, Craig, Kari Anne, Ryan, Kenton, Kevin, Steven, Nicole, Amanda and Denis; along with 22 great-grandchildren. Jessie also leaves to mourn her sister Mary along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Mom was predeceased by her husband Jacob G. Bergen of 47 years, her son Gary, and her grandson Derek.
A private family graveside service was held on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach, MB.
