My condolences to all of Glenn's family and friends. When I heard this news my heart sank. I remember Glenn took me to our Grade 8 Grad at Bourkevale. Got me a corsage and everything (or mom did!) He was a funny and bright guy. A talented young man with the sweetest smile and good manners. I remember him this way. I always will. Be at peace Glenn. - Posted by: Lee-Ann Edwards van Muijen (Childhood friend) on: Dec 12, 2020

Dear Gillian, Gary, Gavin, and Garth We were so saddened to hear of Glenn's passing. He was always one of our favourite neighbourhood kids, joking, smiling and friendly. I remember how much he loved skating, and playing hockey on the outdoor ice at the club. We extend our heartfelt condolences during your time of loss. I have so many memories of my good friend Glenn (Gunner) . You had my back when ever I needed someone. I Truly felt like I was a member of the Yelland family. From all the time we spent at Hillside Beach together also the countless sleepovers at each other’s houses when we were teenagers and you always knew how too put a smile on everyone's face. I have a endless list of Precious memories. I know for certain that you are in a good place and I’ll definitely see you there down the road . My condolences goes out to the Yelland family. - Posted by: Dan Rugg (Forever Friend) on: Nov 28, 2020

Glenn. My first love, the boy who stole my heart the minute he smiled. My heart hurts to know he was suffering so badly. I would have loved to give that boy one last hug. My deepest condolences to his family and Glenn- may you finally be at peace - Posted by: Dionne Klassen (High school friend ) on: Nov 28, 2020

Gord and I were heartbroken to hear of Glenn's passing. Our deepest condolences to Gillian, Garry and family. He was like a second son and did eat us out of house and home during those teenage years. We will always remember his smile, great sense of humor, and interest in what I was cooking that day as long as there was no mayo or sour cream involved. Never forgotten and will be forever missed. - Posted by: Carolyn and Gordon Swann (Friend) on: Nov 28, 2020

All good memories at Deer Lodge Community Centre spending hours on the outdoor rinks with the occasional bumper shining on my parents caravan. Very sorry to hear that Glenn lost his battle with addictions. - Posted by: Brent H (Hockey Player ) on: Nov 28, 2020

Jodie, Jamie, Jeff, Jill, Gavin Garth and Glenn. I think poor little Glenn got the brunt of being yelled at the most. What wonderful memories we have to,look back on.I think Glenn took the brunt for all of them because he had that smile that melted your heart. His struggles were heart breaking being the lonely road addictions led. I truly believe in my heart of hearts that Glenn worked so very hard to return to his family. He was excited about his new apartment and the phone calls home were him reaching out to the only thing stable in his life. His family. I believe Glenn knew every day of his struggles that his family loved him unconditionally and supported him on the road to recovery. Rest easy now Glenn. You are with your Grandparents in heaven who will undoubtedly lovingly hold you in their arms. Rest now Gillian and Garry. Your boy is safe now and can hardly wait to see you someday. - Posted by: Linda Neuls (Friend) on: Nov 28, 2020
