Dad was a devoted husband who cherished and valued his family. His passion for the land, along with a strong work ethic, led him to many years of farming which held his interest to the very end. Pepère's sense of humour, quick wit and optimism was always loved by all. Together Mom and Dad enjoyed travelling and acquired a taste for adventure with family and longtime friends.
A private funeral will take place at a later date in St. Jean Baptiste.
Rolande and family wish to thank Dr. Fraser, Karen and the staff at the Red River Valley Lodge for the compassionate care for Dad. We would also like to express our gratitude to Corey from the Morris Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jean Baptiste Parish, Attention: Maintenance Project, P.O. Box 70, St. Jean Baptiste, MB R0G 2B0.

- Posted by: Odette Sabourin (Nièce) on: Nov 30, 2020

Our sincere condolences to Rolande & family. We have great souvenirs of all your family as a babysitter to the older boys and my mom babysitting the younger girls. Pitou had a great life and his memory will live on. May he rest in peace. You are in our thoughts even if we cannot meet because of covid.
