ONOFRIO NICOLAS GARCEA
June 21, 1961 – November 22, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Onofrio Nicolas Garcea.
Onofrio is predeceased by his father Mingo Garcea. Survived by his loving partner Angela Sumabil (step-children Kimberly, Jessica & Roberto)(step-grandchildren Dominic and Lorenzo), mother Antonia Garcea, sisters Virginia (Carlos), and Ana (Jorge) niece and nephew's along with many uncles, aunts and cousins in both Argentina and Winnipeg.
Onofrio was born Buenos Aires, Argentina on June 21, 1961. In 1996, with his strong-will and optimism he decided to take a leap of faith and begin a new life in Winnipeg, MB. Onofrio worked as a tile setter and loved his craft. In his spare time, he enjoyed BBQing, playing Truco, bocce at the beach but most of all spending time with his family and friends. He was an enthusiastic traveller and loved visiting Argentina and Mexico. Onofrio's ever lasting impression was the size of his heart, he was the most caring individual, always looking out for others and willing to lead a hand.
Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and emergency care team at St. Boniface Hospital for their handwork and dedication.
The funeral service will be held at Holy Rosary Church on November 26, 2020 followed by entombment at Glen Eden on Main Street.
