Condolences & Memories (2 entries)
Margaret was my first constituency assistant as a new MLA in 1999, my first campaign manager in that year’s provincial election, and a stalwart member of the Brandon Easy NDP. She was a founding member of the Westman NDP Women’s Association and, together with her husband Errol, a cornerstone of NDP politics in Manitoba. She was like family to me and influenced the course of my life. Margaret was always ready with a smile, keen to get the job done, and unfailingly socialist in political orientation. Her husband and family meant the world to her. Margaret will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Thoughts are with the Black family. - Posted by: Drew Caldwell (Friend) on: Dec 03, 2020
