CYRIL GERVAIS
He leaves to mourn his wife of 56 years, Lucienne, children, Marc, Alain (Tracey), Nadine (Murray) Miller, Stephane (Kerri), and grandchildren, Anna, Katelynne, Matthew, Reese, Logan, Ethan and Shayne. He is also survived by his siblings, Paul (Carol), Pauline (Cyril) Legault and Maurice (Emily), as well as many nieces and nephews.
Cyril was very proud of his family and was always ready to give a helping hand. He was a farm machinery dealer and was also involved in construction equipment sales. Cyril enjoyed meeting people, and selling was his life.
Cyril enjoyed travelling, spending his winters in Arizona and taking part in hockey, curling and golf.
As life went on he developed renal difficulties and it eventually took his life.
Many thanks to his local doctor in Portage, Dr. Omichinski and all of the nurses, and to Dr. Resterova Martin in the St. Boniface Peritoneal Dialysis Unit.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be a small family service.
If friends so desire, donations in memory of Cyril may be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada, Manitoba Branch, Unit 1-452 Dovercourt Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3Y 1G4 or a charity of your choice.
A tree will be planted in memory and cared for by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel. www.mckenziesportagefuneralchapel.com
