It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Spencer Martin Axel Albietz on Monday, November 23, 2020, at the age of 22.
He will be lovingly missed and forever remembered by his father Martin, sister Alix (Seán), sister Shantal (Dexter), Aunty Shelly, Tante Karin, Uncle Roger, Tante Sylvia, Uncle Bill, cousins, Jesse (Shannon), Ashley (Eric), Brytany, Brandt (Danielle), Skye, nieces, Gracie, Kayden, numerous second cousins, relatives in Germany, and many friends. Last but not least, his beloved dog Chloe. Spencer was predeceased by his mother Sherry and cousin Shaun.
On February 19, 1998, Spencer was born at the Victoria Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Spencer grew up spending many weekends at the family farm in Beausejour riding dirt bikes, spending time with family, animals and enjoying nature. Spencer had a heart of gold. He was kind, caring, with a goofy sense of humour, and most of all full of love. Spencer's best friends were his family. They meant the most to him. One of Spencer's main passions was playing his guitar. He also loved video games, hanging out with his friends, and speaking German with his dad. Spencer graduated from the Manufacturing Technician Program at Red River College on June 5, 2019. Spencer was very proud of his career with CP Railway. He made a lot of new friendships along the way.

We lost you and we don't know why.
If love alone could have saved you,
you never would have died.

Due to the pandemic, a Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
