JEFFREY (JEFF) AMBROSE BURNS

Jeffrey "Jeff" Ambrose Burns died unexpectedly in Winnipeg, at the Health Sciences Centre, on November 29, 2020, at the age of 62.
Jeff is survived by his mother Mary Burns; brother Blaine Burns; daughter Cheryl Burns; grandchildren: Jayda, Hailey, Chanelle, Jeremy and Hilary; great-granddaughter Veronica, and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Jeff was preceded in death by his father Henry Burns, and brother Brian Patrick Burns.
Jeff was born December 19, 1957. He married Linda Breland in 1983. Jeff considered his stepchildren, Steven, Destiny, Crystal, and many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren as part of his immediate family. He will also be greatly missed by his good friends, Vic, Sue, John and Linda.
As a child Jeff was fascinated with trucks of all kinds. Consequently, he was involved in long haul trucking for most of his working life. He was also a licensed certified truck and trailer mechanic so if he wasn't driving, he was working on his rig or a friend's.
Jeff will be remembered as a loving, generous and happy person who always had a joke ready to lighten the mood. He had a big heart and was always ready to help his family and friends.
Jeff has been cremated and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
