MEE SAU CHU
Born in Taishan (China), Mee worked tirelessly from a young age at several jobs while raising her children, and nieces and nephews. She moved to Hong Kong, then immigrated to Canada in 1985. Her grandchildren were her life whom she helped raise. Family time was the most important thing to her, along with going for dimsum and meeting friends for coffee. She always ensured you never had an empty belly in her presence. Despite any language barriers, she somehow always managed to connect with anyone she met. Her kind-hearted and generous spirit will be greatly missed.
Mee is survived by her children, Ming-Duk (Wan-Ling), Miranda (Dennis), Ming-Kit (Hui-Ci); grandchildren Elsa (Eric), Lydia (Tyler), Fiona (Jason) and Ivan; great-grandson Judah; and siblings, Bonnie and Kung-Cheung. She was predeceased by her husband Kam.
A private family service will be held.
