MICHAEL GORDON PAGEE
December 14, 1964 - November 23, 2020

It is great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our brother Michael.
He is predeceased by parents, Alice and Elmer.
Left to cherish his memory are the brothers, David, Gerry, Randy and sister Roseanne; nephews, nieces and close friends and other family members.
Michael was born and raised in the Brooklands area of Winnipeg, but would often recall fond memories of the time he spent working on the family farm in St. Martin, Manitoba.
And after high school, Michael studied at Red River College, and thus started his career as an electrician with Harry Hoffman Electric.
Michael was a avid hockey player and spent his weekends on the ice playing hockey with the Brooklands Pole Cats, alongside his friends and family, where they managed to win the summer league Championship.
As life went on, his health began to fail and the on going dialysis appointments became more of a weekly routine. Michael approached this phase in his life with dogged determination and optimism. He often travelled to visit his friends in St. Martin, where they'd often talk about "remember that."
His family is deeply saddened by this sudden loss and will forever miss our brother and uncle.
Due to COVID, a celebration of his life will be planned on a later date.

  • My children went to Brooklands School. I was a volunteer in the Dialysis Unit at Seven Oaks and saw Michael every shift. Michael was the only person to call me Mrs. Firth. He said his Mum wouldn't like it if he called me Thea - not respectful. Thea Firth - Posted by: The Firth Family (Freinds and school friends) on: Dec 12, 2020
